This Privacy Policy explains how TriCode Studio ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, protects, and discloses information when you use StoreCraft (the "Service"). We are committed to transparency and respecting the privacy rights of all users.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

• Account & Contact Information: When you purchase StoreCraft Pro or contact customer support, we collect your email address, name, and basic billing identifiers necessary to provide license fulfillment.
• Payment & Transactional Data: All financial payment card data is processed directly by our payment infrastructure partners (Lemon Squeezy / Stripe) in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. TriCode Studio does not receive, store, or process raw credit card numbers or banking secrets.
• User Content & Uploaded Assets: Screenshots, icons, and marketing copy that you input into the StoreCraft studio. The majority of rendering is executed locally inside your web browser using HTML5 Canvas and CSS transforms. Temporary server calls (such as locale translation via /api/translate) process only text copy to generate localized versions and discard the text immediately after delivery.
• Usage & Device Metrics: Non-personally identifiable diagnostic information such as browser type, operating system, language preferences, and performance telemetry to maintain service reliability.

3. How We Use Your Information

We utilize collected data strictly for the following operational purposes:

• To provide, operate, maintain, and enhance the StoreCraft visual studio;
• To authenticate paid StoreCraft Pro subscriptions and deliver software capabilities;
• To process refunds, prevent payment fraud, and fulfill accounting requirements;
• To provide customer support and respond to technical assistance inquiries at support@tricodestudio.com;
• To communicate critical account notices, invoices, or security updates.

4. Data Storage, Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against accidental loss, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Communications with StoreCraft are encrypted using TLS 1.3 cryptographic protocols.

Because StoreCraft functions primarily as a client-side visual design studio, user screenshots are not stored in permanent public databases. Account and transaction records are retained only as long as necessary to comply with legal, tax, and regulatory compliance obligations.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We may engage vetted third-party service providers to facilitate our Service:

• Payment Gateways & Merchant of Record: Lemon Squeezy and Stripe handle billing, sales tax compliance, and automated invoicing.
• Hosting & Content Delivery: Vercel or modern edge cloud providers host the static and serverless application code.
• AI Translation API: Google Gemini API handles machine translation requests without retaining customer copy for model training.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion Requests

Depending on your location (including rights under GDPR, CCPA, or UK Data Protection Act), you have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data.
